ANIMALS PEACE
There was a big farm next to the forest and this farm was full of chickens and ducks.
One day the hungry fox decided to go to the farm with the net and chase the chicken and duck for his lunch.
That fox went to the fence of farmland. Chicken escaped when it saw the fox is coming and duck jumped on the top of tree.
The fox said: I heard your beautiful sound and then came here to hear you better. Why do you jump over there?
The duck replied: I afraid of you and I feel safe here.
The fox asked: Didn’t you hear that king of animals said that no one should hurt anybody else from now on?
Duck looked at the farm far from There. Then Fox asked where are you looking at?
Duck answered: I am looking at the unknown animal who is coming from a far distance and has big ears and long tail .I don’t know his name, may be he is a dog or wolf.
Fox said: I guess that animal must be a big dog. So, I should go fast now.
Duck said: Do you forget a little minute ago? You said that the King of animals says, "All the animals should be free and not worried about their safety.” Then why are you so sad?
The Fox said: I afraid if that dog didn’t hear the king of animals’ speech and then escaped.
At the end Duck became free and came down the tree.
Once upon a time on a sunny day, a crow saw a piece of cheese. Quickly, he went and picked it up with his peek. He flew and sat on a branch of a tree so he could eat his cheese in peace.
The fox was watching the crow, and he was thinking of doing something to get the cheese from the crow. He approached the tree that the crow was sitting on and started to brag about the crow: “ wow, what beautiful wings with such nice color you have.
Your gorgeous black wings are rare in the world.
You have such nice feathers and legs. Too bad that you don’t have a nice voice, if you did you would have been the most beautiful bird in the world.”
The crow was so proud of all the things the fox had said about him, he wanted to sing so the fox can hear that he has a nice voice, but as soon as the crow opens his peek the piece of cheese fall down and the fox picks it up and runs away.
Just then the crow found out about the fox’s trick, but it was too late.
So my dears kids, what lesson did you learn from this story? You have to be very careful. If someone is admiring something or someone, he most likely wants some thing. I hope that you will never be tricked by any one.
A knowledgeable man went to a mosque near noon. He was standing in the courtyard of the mosque. Beside him, four footboys of the bazaar were having lunch. The first boy was having bread and Halva*. The second and third boys were having bread and cheese and the fourth boy was eating only bread.
One of the boys who had bread and cheese told the boy with Halva, "I would like to have some Halva. Give me some Halva too."
The boy with Halva said, " If you become my dog, and act like a dog I'll give you some."
The other boy imitated a dog's voice, got some Halva, and everyone laughed.
The third boy said, "Give me some Halva too."
The boy with Halva said, "If you become my donkey and act like one, I'll give you Halva too."
The other boy imitated a donkey's voice and got some Halva.
Then, the forth boy said, "Now that you gave them Halva, give me some too."
The boy with Halva said, "If you become my cat, and meow, I'll give you some too."
The boy said, "I won't become anyone's cat. If you want to give me some, just give me."
The boy with Halva said, " That's the only way I can give you some. You won't get any Halva if you don't act like you're my cat."
The other boy thought to himself, and said, "Let me ask this gentleman and see if eating Halva is worth becoming someone's cat."
Then he faced the scholar, and said, "Sir, in your opinion, is it better that I become a cat and eat Halva, or should I stay as I am and eat only bread?"
The scholar answered, "I don't know what to say, my dear. You're just a child and like to have some Halva. But I know that I, myself, haven't eaten Halva for thirty years and as you see, I am not any different from others, and I have everyone's respect. But I have a neighbor who eats Halva everyday, but no one respects him."
The boy then said, "Then I'll eat my bread and don't want any Halva. If one can not eat Halva for thirty years, one should be able to not eat it even for one hundred years. Then, why should one become another's dog? Why should one become another's donkey? And why should one become another's cat?"
*Halva is a favorable Iranian sweet.
